Privacy policy

Information on the processing of personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018.

1. Data controller

2. Data entered in the generator

The company, product and assessment data you enter in CRACheck is processed in your browser and is not sent to or stored on SolidwareTools servers. When you close the tab, it disappears. To manage your licence, the generator keeps in your browser’s local storage only licence information (key status, company or product reference and activation date). At each generation, only the licence key and the product identifier are sent to Gumroad to verify the licence.

3. Data processed

3.1 Purchases

Payments are processed by Gumroad, Inc. (Merchant of Record), which collects your name, email, billing address, country and payment details. SolidwareTools receives from Gumroad only the buyer’s name, email and country and the transaction reference, and never full card details. See gumroad.com/privacy.

3.2 Email

If you write to hello@solidwaretools.com, we process your address and the content of the message to answer you.

4. Purposes and legal basis

• Performance of the purchase contract and support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Compliance with tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Answering non-contractual enquiries (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

No data is used for advertising or profiling, and no data is transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Retention

Billing data: the period required by Spanish tax and commercial law. Support data linked to a purchase: the duration of the licence and, afterwards, the limitation period for contractual claims. Other emails: until the enquiry is closed, and no longer than one year.

6. Recipients

Gumroad, Inc. as Merchant of Record (international transfers under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework); the Spanish Tax Agency where legally required; the owner’s tax advisor for accounting obligations.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to hello@solidwaretools.com. We reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid.
