The EUTR has regulated timber imports since 2013. The EUDR formally repeals it and raises the bar: deforestation-free proof (post 31/12/2020 cut-off), plot-level geolocation in GeoJSON, 14-criteria risk assessment, and a structured DDS filed in TRACES NT. The EUTR focused on legality. The EUDR demands legality plus deforestation-free plus structured filing. For wood, paper and pulp operators previously under EUTR, the transition means upgrading from document-based due diligence to data-driven geolocation traceability. EUDRCheck generates the EUDR-compliant dossier in 15 minutes. €199 per consignment.

EUTR focused on legality. EUDR expands to seven commodities, requires deforestation-free proof with 31/12/2020 cut-off, mandates plot-level geolocation, introduces 14-criteria formal risk assessment, and requires DDS filing in TRACES NT. Spreadsheets that satisfied EUTR are not sufficient.
Timber produced before 29 June 2023 and placed on EU market before 31 December 2028 remains under EUTR. Everything else falls under EUDR.
All 6 steps are new or significantly expanded compared to EUTR.
EUDRCheck generates the full EUDR dossier. Your EUTR system is the starting point, not the finish line.
Your EUTR monitoring organisation's system is a starting point, not a finish line.
If your inventory straddles both periods, you need both systems in parallel.
The structured DDS in TRACES NT is separate and mandatory.
EUDRCheck does not generate a single PDF. It generates a complete dossier of eight structured documents, delivered as a ZIP file you download and keep. Every document cites the specific EUDR article it complies with.
