You sell consumer electronics on eBay.de, eBay.fr, eBay.it or eBay.es — smart plugs, Bluetooth speakers, earbuds, IP cameras. eBay's product compliance team has flagged your listings: 'Provide documentation demonstrating compliance with Directive 2014/53/EU, including cybersecurity requirements.' Your existing CE certificate covers EMC and safety — not cybersecurity. Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/30 activated Art. 3(3)(d) and (e) as separate obligations from 1 August 2025. If you sell under your own brand, Art. 14 makes you the manufacturer. A compliance service quotes €5,000+ per product. You have 8 active listings. REDCheck generates the 5 PDF documents for each product in 30 minutes. €99 per product. 100% in your browser.

European marketplaces — including eBay — are enforcing conformity documentation under the Radio Equipment Directive. Cybersecurity is the newest requirement and the one most sellers are missing.
You enter your product specifications. REDCheck structures the cybersecurity documentation requirement by requirement, following the EN 18031 categories.
CE marking for electromagnetic compatibility (Art. 3(1)(b)) and electrical safety (Art. 3(1)(a)) has been mandatory since 2016. The cybersecurity requirements of Art. 3(3)(d) and (e) are SEPARATE obligations activated by Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/30 from 1 August 2025. Your existing CE marking does not cover them. eBay now requires documentation that specifically addresses cybersecurity.
Art. 14 of Directive 2014/53/EU: if you sell under YOUR brand — even if a factory made the product — you ARE the manufacturer under EU law. Art. 10 obligations apply to you: design compliance, technical documentation, conformity assessment.
eBay UK requires UKCA marking (separate regime). eBay US has no cybersecurity documentation requirement under RED — but if you sell into the EU from ANY eBay domain, Directive 2014/53/EU applies to products received by EU buyers. Cross-border sales do not exempt you.

5 PDF documents. 30 min. €99 per product. The documentation that Art. 21 requires BEFORE your product can bear CE marking. This is what the marketplace is asking for.
If you fully apply EN 18031, you can self-declare via Module A (Annex II) without a Notified Body. If you partially apply or don't apply the harmonised standards, Art. 17(4) requires third-party involvement. REDCheck does not replace a Notified Body — it generates the documentation that is a prerequisite for any conformity route.
We do not sell testing. We do not sell consulting. We sell the tool that structures your cybersecurity documentation under Art. 21 and Annex V.
Art. 46 of Directive 2014/53/EU requires Member States to establish penalties that are effective, proportionate and dissuasive.
eBay requires conformity documentation as a condition to maintain active EU listings. Without an EU declaration of conformity covering Arts. 3(3)(d) and (e), your listings are flagged and may be removed.
Market surveillance authorities can require withdrawal, prohibit sale or order a recall. Arts. 40(1), 40(4) and 43 of Directive 2014/53/EU.
Administrative fines under §19. Up to 1 year of imprisonment for serious offences under §20.
