You buy smart plugs, earbuds or IP cameras from Shenzhen. You put your brand on them. You sell on Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it. Amazon suspends 3 of your 6 ASINs: 'Missing cybersecurity documentation under Directive 2014/53/EU. Provide within 30 days.' Your Chinese supplier says: 'CE is your responsibility. We only make.' They are right. Art. 14: anyone who places radio equipment on the market under their own brand assumes the obligations of the manufacturer. REDCheck generates the 5 PDF documents. 30 minutes. €99 per product. Each day without listings costs you revenue.

Amazon requires conformity documentation as a condition for active EU listings. From 1 August 2025, that includes cybersecurity documentation under Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/30 for all internet-connected radio equipment.
You enter your product specifications. REDCheck structures the cybersecurity documentation requirement by requirement, following the EN 18031 categories.
Art. 14 of Directive 2014/53/EU: an importer or distributor who places radio equipment on the market under his own name or trade mark is considered the manufacturer and is subject to the obligations of Art. 10. If the product says your brand on the box, you are the manufacturer. All manufacturer obligations apply — including technical documentation under Art. 10(3).
CE marking obtained by your supplier covers Art. 3(1)(a) (safety) and Art. 3(1)(b) (EMC). The cybersecurity requirements of Art. 3(3)(d) and (e) are SEPARATE obligations activated from 1 August 2025. Furthermore, by placing the product under YOUR brand, you assumed manufacturer status under Art. 14. The existing CE marking under the supplier's name is no longer valid for your branded product.
GPSR (Regulation (EU) 2023/988) and the Radio Equipment Directive (Directive 2014/53/EU) are separate pieces of EU legislation. GPSR covers general product safety. RED cybersecurity covers network protection and personal data. Solving one does not solve the other. Amazon checks both.

If you fully apply EN 18031, you can self-declare via Module A (Annex II) without a Notified Body. If you partially apply or don't apply the harmonised standards, Art. 17(4) requires third-party involvement. REDCheck does not replace a Notified Body — it generates the documentation that is a prerequisite for any conformity route.
We do not sell testing. We do not sell consulting. We sell the tool that structures your cybersecurity documentation under Art. 21 and Annex V.
Art. 46 of Directive 2014/53/EU requires Member States to establish penalties that are effective, proportionate and dissuasive, including criminal penalties for serious infringements.
Amazon requires conformity documentation. Without cybersecurity documentation covering Arts. 3(3)(d) and (e), ASINs are suspended. Each day without listings = lost sales.
Arts. 40(1), 40(4) and 43 of Directive 2014/53/EU.
Under Art. 14, you have assumed the full obligations of the manufacturer. This includes liability for non-compliant products. Art. 46 allows criminal penalties for serious infringements.
