Amazon suspended thousands of connected device listings in July 2024 when the General Product Safety Regulation entered into force. Sellers had 48 hours to upload documentation or lose the Buy Box. Article 25 of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 obliges online marketplaces to cooperate with market surveillance authorities on the Cyber Resilience Act. The pattern will repeat. CRACheck generates the 8 documents you need before it does.

You have already experienced the GPSR suspension wave. You uploaded the GPSR declaration on the last day and lost three weeks of sales on your top ASIN. The Cyber Resilience Act covers connected devices — every product with a data connection is in scope under Article 2.1 of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847. Amazon will open a CRA compliance dashboard. The sellers who prepared documentation early will keep their listings live. The ones who wait will lose revenue again. CRACheck generates 8 PDF documents per Article 31 and Annex VII. 15-25 minutes. €149 per product. 100% in your browser.

Common mistakes

GPSR REPEAT

"Amazon has not announced CRA enforcement yet — there is no deadline"

Amazon did not announce GPSR enforcement until weeks before the deadline. When it did, sellers had 48 hours. Article 25 of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 obliges marketplace operators to act when market surveillance authorities issue orders. The enforcement date is 11 December 2027. Amazon's compliance dashboard will open before that.

ART. 3(13)

"I resell OEM products — the factory is the manufacturer, not me"

If your Amazon listing shows your brand name on the product, Article 3(13) of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 makes you the manufacturer. You placed the product on the market under your trademark. The Article 31 documentation obligation is yours.

ART. 69

"My products are already on Amazon — they were placed before 2027, so CRA does not apply"

Article 69 states that products placed on the market before 11 December 2027 are subject to the CRA only if they undergo substantial modification. However, every new FBA inventory shipment after 11 December 2027 constitutes a new placement on the market. Products that sell out and are re-ordered are new placements.
